Our garage door torsion spring snapped on a Sunday morning when there were no repair shops open. We left a message at Same Day Garage Door Services and received a call at 7am Monday. By 8:30am, our door was repaired. Our tech Jeff Brown was pleasant and informative as he worked on one of the hottest days of the year. I did not do any price shopping, since speed was paramount, but it seemed comparable to all the other repairs that we have needed to make lately.About a year later:Our very old remotes were rarely working and the keypad was only working sporadically. Called Same Day Garage Door Services and the next morning had two remotes and the keypad replaced, installed, and programmed. Our serviceman was again Jeff, who was great to work with.

Excellent fast expert service

I had tech Anthony out yesterday to one of my properties to service a garage door that would not function appropriately. He determined that the door needed to have custom springs, motor, and all major components replaced. I got to the location today and found that the sensor had fallen down and would not let the door function. After spending 45 seconds aligning the sensor, the door functions. He did have a point that the motor is undersized for the large and heavy door, but this was a silly oversight and huge upsell on new equipment, which unfortunately isn't uncommon when vendors see the quality of home they are working on. In addition, the garage door was still open on my arrival and the push button is not functioning after his visit.

Bernard was a great technician. They showed made repairs as promised.

I have searched the pricing for all the items with same dimensions and company made , equipment cost is just 250 dollars and I have checked the quotes with different companies as well , quotes were in range of 650- 830 dollars . this company is a big time rip off and take advantage of your situation , so I don’t recommend them for same day repair unless you are willing to pay upcharge of 500-600 dollars . Technician who converted the door springs was super helpful and genuinely very good .

That turned to be a good idea, as the technician Matt confirmed it was manufactured in 1994. The update is worth it.Matt was very friendly and professional. He also took the time to show me how the system worked and how to connect it to the app. He also addressed possible future issues with the garage door (which is likely the same age as the old garage door opener). Looked up Same Day Garage Door Services and was put in contact withe their technician Albert. He came out and within a few minutes figured out what was wrong with my garage door! The opener is more than 20 years old , but still works and he did not try to upsell me a new opener like another Garage Door company did. Albert provided a very concise fix to the door problem and a reasonable estimate!! I called Same Day Garage the next Day and Albert was at my house within a couple hours. The Door is fixed works great and I would highly recommend Same Day Garage and ask to have Albert come out! You cannot go wrong with Albert to fix your Garage Door issues!

He was a nice enough guy, however, very pushy to do work that was not necessary at the time. I i constantly let him know that I am a single senior (78 yo) living on Social Security ($1,800.00 a month) and cannot spend much money!!! I do not have family to fall back on, no retiremrnt, no savings! You do the math. Try living on that! If I didn't do all the thin gs on his report eventually you guys will have to come back and then not only more repair charges, but another service charge!!But he would NOT let up. I had to pay with my Fry's credit card. And he even had the nerve to suggest I buy a whole new door and system. OMG!!! I am assuming he must be on commission or get a kick back, but this is just cruel to prey on an older person by using fear tactics!! I definitely will not use your company again or recommend your company!

My experience with Same Day Garage was nothing less than exceptional. I had someone crash their car into my garage, damaging the door and trapping my car inside. They were able to get someone out to my house within a few hours of calling.James was my tech and he was incredible. Not only was he very professional, he was friendly and empathetic to my situation. He was able to get the panels replaced that day and I could free my car to deal with the rest of my damages.My opener needs to be replaced once my insurance claim is submitted and I have every intention on calling Same Day Garage Doors to have them do the work. 10/10 for service, quality and speed.

Door technician walked into my garage from the sidedoor and after we exchanged greetings, he looked up and, immediately pointed to the major culprit of my problems as to why the garage door is not operating properly.Not knowing what he was alluding to, he dropped his Clipboard, took me closer to the door and pointed to the area he was referring to from afar. That is, the heavy overhead spring of the door and showed me it has broken [split into two] and must be replaced.He recommended we replace the rollers in addition to the spring, as well as the seal on the bottom of the door. In all, we did as recommended and he began replacing the broken, or bad components.At the time of this writing, the garage door is working nicely and quietly.

Had Same Day Garage Door Service come out to fix a broken spring. Jordan inspected and lubed everything and once he got into the repair advised me of some warn parts that should be replaced also. I looked them over and he was right, the door parts were 23 years old and it was time for them to be replaced. The door sounds like new and is even quieter than before and works so smooth I need to look to make sure it's up before backing out now... Jordan did a great job and was clean and left no mess to clean and was very friendly and professional. I would recommend Same Day to anyone with a garage door issue or just for a checkup service.

My experience with Same Day Garage Doors started with searching on Yelp. Prior experience with other garage door contractors left me to search for a different provider.Anyway, I first spoke with Cassidy in their office. She was extremely friendly and helpful by providing a quick ball-park verbal quote. Their initial pricing seemed fair, and their availability was very quick so I scheduled the appointment through her for between 12 & 2PM.Mike called me within half an hour, and he was at my door at just about 1 hour after my initial call. He was very professional and friendly as well. He provided a written (email) hard quote for the work I needed, as well as a few items that he saw I could (should) do in the future. He proceeded with changing the drive rail & belt and was completed within an hour. His final invoice price turned out to be about $30 less than the ball-park quote I spoke with Cassidy about.A prior garage door contractor was a very hard seller, trying to up-sell items and packages the whole time they were at my house, stating they were code or safety required items. I won't be using them again.I'd recommend Same Day Garage Door Services in a minute, and I will be using them for my garage door service requirements in the future!! Thanks

My tech Albert just left. On the way out this morning, the button to the garage door was accidently pressed right before we started backing out and I drove into the door. Using my preferred search engine I looked up nearby garage door repair places and called Same Day Garage Door Services. A very pleasant woman took my information and assured me that they would have a technician out between 8-10 am. They confirmed it with a follow up text and email. Jordan called just before arriving at 8!!! He quickly identified the problem, giving me an overview of the costs with a couple of options if I wanted to replace other items that were becoming worn. Within an hour it was all done, and not only is it fixed, but it's much quieter. I am very happy with their service and would highly recommend them.

We have a 20 year old house that we bought 10 years ago. Yesterday our single spring garage door broke with a load bang. I called and to my surprise she had Jordan here about 45 minutes later!! I already knew that I needed two springs and he took everything apart and showed me some really worn parts. I opted to replace the worn parts, upgraded to better springs and added a brace at the lifter connection point. Jordan was excellent!! He was done within an hour, explained everything in an easy to understand manner and was an able and all around great guy!! I would use them again in the future when my opener finally needs replacement or for anything else that is needed!! Also, they give a discount based on which works best for you!! Give them a call!! After his 1st visit, and completing the work, he recommend I get a new motor as my existing one was old and struggling.I purchased a new motor with all the bells and whistles, but it did NOT come with a new belt and rail.James was more than happy to install my new motor, and he had a rail and belt on his truck (at an extra cost - but that was to expected since I did NOT have a new one to supply).He showed up on time, got everything installed, and also inspected a new dent on my door, which he said isn't much of a big deal, mostly cosmetic.Overall the process wasn't overly expensive, and James did not try and upsell me on anything. My spring recently broke on my Garage Door and I called Same Day back again as they did such a great job on their last visit to insulate my door and change out a panel. Angel, a truly nice human and professional, was able to come out the same day and did an amazing job on getting the spring changed, upgrade my door hardware with better products and as always did a great job in helping to stay within my budgetary requirements. ETA- when Mike was trying to persuade me to convert my garage door he said the springs to fix my door were around $850, in actuality, the parts were $120 + $40 shipping and I was able to fix it myself thanks to a video on the website that I bought the parts from. So I would probably downgrade my review to 2.5 if I could.———————————————————————I have a unique garage door spring in that it’s contained internally in a tube. I made that clear when I talked to the intake person. When Mike arrived he said they don’t repair these types, they just completely convert them to a type with external springs, and that would cost upwards of $1500. So beware if you have Wayne Dalton springs. Mike was super nice and polite. A great employee, not his fault that the company doesn’t fix that type of door spring and no one discussed it even though I was very specific about that with the intake person. They charged me a fee for the quote (which I expected and paid). They also added a fuel surcharge fee, which the intake person did not disclose upfront. All in all a mediocre customer experience.

I recently hired Same Garage Door services in Folsom, CA. The guy showed up for service based on time schedule decided. However, I did not find person professional at all. He changed wheels to silicon wheel and while changing it instead of uncrewing and then changing it, he pulled using hammer and then was inserting new wheel. During this process it did bent track to some extent. I asked him to show how lubricate, he was in hurry and was keeping asking me to change motor.Not happy with service and will not suggest to anyone.

So I was hesitant on calling yet another garage door company to come out and give me an estimate as to what it was going to take to fix or replace my garage door. Same day garage Service did a great job. They were here the next day after I called them, they fix my garage. It was able to be repaired, due to so much wind, had caused damaged. I thought I was going to have to buy a new one, which I couldn’t afford at the time. also the technician fixed the rotating chain, and put a spray on it. Everything was fixed for about $501

There was some evidence the springs were newer but the door itself is old. He did a total rebuild on the door in 2 hours, replacing all the rollers, bearings, springs, cable etc for a faction of what it would cost to buy a new door.
